Instagram, Hashtags, and Candy

I don't know if y'all know this but there's this thing that girls are now doing, it's called "Man Candy Monday"......Usually it's on instagram and i didn't know about it because i refuse to get one, until someone i know posted a link on twitter so i clicked on it and it had the hashtag 'man candy monday' and showed a picture of some very attractive guys. And to tell you the truth i was disgusted. I mean the guys were attractive I'm not going to lie, but why in the world would you post that? Especially if you call yourself a Christian, which this person claims to be. And then to add that hashtag?.... "Man Candy Monday".....Candy? Really? No man should be treated that way. I have five brothers and if someone referred to them as "candy" i would "lovingly" punch them in the face.
Ladies, think about it. If a man posted on instagram or whatever social network a picture of attractive women and used the hashtag "Women Candy Wednesday", you would be furious. You'd say it was degrading. That they were referring to you as an object, not as a person with real feelings and emotions. So why is it different?
Well the truth is, it isn't! And in both cases it is wrong. By posting such things we are partaking in sin and encouraging people's flesh. We are causing people to lust. Think about this verse: "It is good not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything that causes your brother to stumble." (Romans 14:21, ESV) Ladies, we need to care for each other. We need to care for our brother in Christ and not treat them like that, and we need to care for each other by not encouraging each other's sins. A wonderful lady who used to go to my church once said "appreciate the beautiful things, or people, that God has made and move on." she even added, "and when you find yourself looking at an attractive man, don't just move on but pray for him."
Ladies, PLEASE stop this. Don't partake in it anymore. I get that it can be funny, and that you may just be doing it to be humorous. But i promise it does not honor God.

"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:34-35. NKJV
