Artichoke is Actually Shark
Today i went on my usual walk. There wasn't much different, except that it had rained today so everything was wet, and it was still drizzling. I walked to our back field and my feet sunk into mud. On most days i would have been disgusted, but i had a deja vu moment.... I thought back to all the mud fights me and my brothers had, when my mom would get mad at us for ruining the garden, when we would ride the four-wheeler through the wonderfully fresh mud. We would be so covered in mud that we looked like a different person. After i came back to reality, i thought about how i had forgotten how fun it was to be a kid. How simple it was. If i were someone that would over think things i would say "I was stomping out all the bad in my life"..... NO! I was playing in the stinking mud! Like a child!
Sometimes we forget to be like a child. We are so focused on getting people to like us, or trying to grow up; that we forget to think of things like a child would. No that does not mean we need to stay ignorant and not strive to learn more and think deeper. But a child thinks of things straight forward, unbiased, they don't over think things. We forget to do that many times. The Jesus said, "Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 18:3) Children believe wholeheartedly in whatever they want. You name it they probably have believed it. Once i persuaded my little siblings that artichoke was shark. We need to be like a child. No! We don't have to believe ridiculous things like artichoke being shark. But a child will follow after something without swaying. That is how we need to be pertaining to Christ. We need to follow Christ like a child.

That's so true. I love it. Gotta have that child-like spirit. Because then we, being like children, will believe God at His word when He says He is going to heal our family or deliver our friend. Keep that spirit in you, MJ.
